ABOUT BLOOD BROTHERS THE MUSICAL

Blood Brothers was originally developed as a school play. Developed as a musical Blood Brothers features a book, music and lyrics by Willy Russell. The musical premiered in Liverpool before transferring to the West End where it won the Olivier Award for Best Musical in 1983. After touring the musical returned to London’s Albery Theatre (now the Noel Coward Theatre) before transferring to the Phoenix Theatre running for more than 27 years and playing more than 10,000 performances making it the third longest-running musical production in West End history.

The Blood Brothers Musical Tour 2022 will star Niki Evans as Mrs Johnstone, Sean Jones as Mickey, Joel Benedict as Eddie, Robbie Scottcher as Narrator, Paula Tappenden as Mrs Lyons, Carly Burns as Linda, Tim Churchill as Mr Lyons, Danny Taylor as Sammy, Grace Galloway as Donna-Marie/ Miss Jones, Melissa Potts as Brenda, Andy Owens as Perkins, Jacob Tolland as Bus Conductor, Nick Wilkes as Policeman/Teacher and Josh Capper as the Neighbour.
