The Finborough Theatre is to present the world premiere of Jacob Marx Rice’s A Brief List of Everyone Who Died as a rehearsed reading online for free.

The performance will be available from 24 May at 6pm to 20 June at midnight on the Finborough’s YouTube channel as part of #FinboroughForFree and shown concurrently with subtitles on Scenesaver.

The cast features American actors Vivia Font and Paco Lozano plus Gemma Barnett, Raphael Bushay and Caoimhe Farren.

It reunites Jacob Marx Rice with British director Alex Howarth, who directed the American writer’s acclaimed play, Chemistry, at the Finborough in 2019.

After the scarring loss of her beloved dog Buster at the age of five, Graciela decides that no one she loves will ever die. But stopping death is easier said than done.

Described as “wickedly funny and deeply humane”, A Brief List of Everyone Who Died tells the story of all the deaths that make up a life.

The rehearsed reading is presented by Patch of Blue in association with Neil McPherson for the Finborough.
