Following its UK debut a few years ago, The Addams Family UK Tour 2022 with Joanne Clifton and Cameron Blakely has now concluded.

After a brief delay due to theatre shutdowns, producers have announced The Addams Family UK Tour has been rescheduled and Continues to tour in 2022.

Based on The Addams Family characters created by Charles Addams in his infamous single-panel gag cartoons which depicted a ghoulish American family with a love of all things macabre.

WHO WROTE THE ADDAMS FAMILY MUSICAL?

Featuring music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa and book by Rick Elice and Marshall Brickman. The show is an entirely original musical (although it does feature a few moments of the classic TV series theme).

WHO IS IN THE CAST OF THE ADDAMS FAMILY UK TOUR?

Joanne Clifton and Cameron Blakely star as Morticia and Gomez Addams, based on the characters created by Charles Addams. Kingsley Morton will play Wednesday Addams, Grant McIntyre is Pugsley Addams, Valda Aviks is Grandma, Sean Kingsley is Mal Beineke and Kara Lane is Alice Beineke.

Also in the cast are Abigail Brodie, Sophie Hutchinson, Luke Byrne, Matthew Ives and Sean Lopeman will be Scott Paige (Uncle Fester), Ahmed Hamad (Lucas Beineke), Dickon Gough (Lurch until 27 November 2021), Ryan Bennett (Lurch from 18 January 2022), Roxanne Couch, Oonagh Cox and Joshua Robinson.

WHAT IS THE PLOT OF THE ADDAMS FAMILY MUSICAL?

Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and has a shocking secret that only Gomez knows; she’s fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family! Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before — keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents. All the usual clan are present – Uncle Fester, Lurch, Pugsley et al.
