The COVID-19 Pandemic has once again led to West End show cancellations with cast members and crews having to isolate for safety purposes along with the reintroduction of safety protocols which are now mandatory outlined below.
So, what is running over the break? We are continuing to keep our list as up to date as possible.
The West End is currently in disarray as the latest Omicrom variation of Covid-19 is being felt across the UK at a faster rate than originally theorised. With West End productions being reliant on huge labour forces, shows are now continually testing to ensure the safety of casts, crews and venue staff. But as with the rest of us, a positive test requires isolation which means shows are being cancelled. Join our mailing list and we will send you updates.
Producers are endeavouring to keep shows open to protect the livelihoods of those in the industry, so please be understanding if cancellations are announced late. Everyone is trying to keep the theatres open.
If you are attending a production please make sure you are conversant with theatre safety restrictions which now see mask-wearing mandatory by law. In addition, you may be required to show you COVID pass or a Lateral Flow Test.
Most theatres are now running a variation of the following, so please check before you visit in case you are denied entry.
